Associated Students sells supplementary materials for classes provided
by professors, including course readers and articles, practice exams and
homework, exam and quiz solutions.
UCSD Podcast
A podcast is
a recorded file of a class lecture that can be downloaded to a computer,
iPod, or any MP3 player for later use. This is a free service.
Social Science
Computing Facility (SSCF) Helpdesk
The Social Science Computing
Facility (SSCF) offers a variety of computer support for administrative
staff, faculty, and graduate students within the Division of Social
Sciences. Support includes: installation and setup of new computers, web
hosting, Email access, antivirus, scantron scanners, and more.
CAPE - Course and Professor
Evaluations
CAPE is a student run organization responsible for
evaluating the courses and professors at UCSD. Any class with a 3rd week
enrollment of 15 or greater will be scheduled to be CAPEd; if a class
has an enrollment of less than 15 courses can be covered by the
Self-CAPE method.
Office
for Students with Disabilities (OSD)
The Office for Students with
Disabilities' (OSD) facilitates many facets of student development and
disability management: Interpreter and Captionist Services, Reading
Services, Exam Accommodations, etc.
Academic Integrity
A guide that defines the types of academic
misconduct, explains the responsibilities of students, faculty, and
administrators in implementing the UCSD Policy on Integrity of
Scholarship, and describes the steps that should be followed by
Instructors when they suspect a student of dishonest behavior.
